And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

This session addresses the need to keep going and choosing to rely more on God. You can do this, but it doesn't have to be on your own.
As we trust Him more, let's focus on curbing triggers, addressing needs, and dealing with change.

Grief and Hope is not a typical grief support group. If you need to delve deeply into processing your grief, are suicidal or unable to function in your daily routine, there are grief counselors and therapists that can better assist with that.
But if your world has been turned upside down by grief and you are grasping for hope, desperately looking for and needing more positivity in your healing, then Grief and Hope is definitely for you.
Yes. You may find that attending this group alone is perfect for you, but don’t be afraid to use multiple resources available to help you recover from your loss. Grief and Hope groups, GriefShare groups, grief counselors and pastors are all great places to assist you in dealing with your loss.
Grief is not a one-size-fits-all condition. Your grief is your own, and what is best for someone else is not necessarily what is best for you. Take it one day at a time and do what works for you.
No. Many people attending will have experienced the death of a loved one. However, there could be events or circumstances in our lives (such as disability, divorce, job loss) that cause us to grieve the loss of our dreams and expectations. Whether you have lost a loved one, pet, job, marriage, future dream or other, losing something that you value will cause grief. Grief and Hope focuses on finding hope in the midst of the grief you are experiencing.
No. All are welcome to join a Grief and Hope group, but the curriculum is Christ-centered and eternally focused. Regardless of your beliefs, I pray this group encourages you and helps you experience God’s tangible, available, sufficient grace.
